Praying The Catholic Rosary.?
So I start at the cross, and go up the strand, then in breaks into two (the loop part). So you go around that, and stop where it goes back into the one strand. After saying the Hail Holy Queen, do I continue back down the one strand to the crucifix, or stop at the little metal charm (that are on some rosaries)?

You’ve got it down. Once you go around the entire strand, and finished all the decades, you stop at the charm. Don’t go all the way down to the crucifix again. Hail Holy Queen will be the end of the prayer.
